If you are one of the lucky mom’s who has still not had the return of her monthly period- then count yourself luck! My menstrual cycle returned when my son Cooper was 6 months old. Prior to that, I had one fluke period when Cooper was two months old. I have had my period three times and each time the week leading up to my period my milk supply decreased significantly. I was terrified that I was drying up. My son was fussy because he was not getting enough milk. The first time this happened I went searching the internet for help. Here is what I discovered has helped me and I hope it will help you:
- calcium/magnesium supplement: take one a day and this is suppose to help with maintaining your milk supply levels prior to your period
- Nurse more frequently: because your supply level is lower, it will mean your child will become hungrier faster. My son is on a 4.5 hour schedule. During the week leading up to my period sometimes feed him every 3.5 hours or less (if needed). Yes, this messes up the schedule somewhat, but it helps him get enough to eat.
- Supplement with frozen breast milk: This I read no where, but I started to do it on my own. I found that I was just not producing enough milk and after each feeding I would offer my son a few more ounces of warmed breast milk that I had stored in our freezer. I stored the milk in ice cube trays. Each ice cube is equal to 1 oz of milk. It was easy for me to take 2-3 cubes out and warm them to account for the decrease in my supply. This method worked the best for my son and I.
- Pump: Your milk can have a slightly different flavor due to the hormonal changes in your body. My son does not nurse well because of the change in flavor. He often will pull off and refuse to relatch even when I have milk left. In order to keep my milk supply up, I often pump after he is done nursing to keep my milk supply up and running. I would then offer him some warmed frozen breast milk that I had previously pumped because it does not have the strange taste he is resisting. Seems to work.
- Funugreek capsules/ more milk plus: I have found both supplements to help increase my milk supply at various times while I have been nursing. I have found the most success at taking more milk plus. I bought it at an organic market. It comes in a liquid form. I took it for 36 hours and saw a huge different in my milk supply. This is not something you would want to take long term, so just do it leading up to your period. http://www.motherlove.com/product_more_milk_plus.php
Other Problems with Breastfeeding while menstruating
- Baby can be more fussier than usual
- might refuse to nurse or shorten length of nursing
- sore nipples
- flavor of milk can appear more sour or bitter- causing baby to refuse nursing or nurse less
Yes, I know it is frustrating that you have to put all this extra work into breastfeeding during your menstration. I know I have had moments when I am totally ready to throw in the towel and say the hex with breast feeding, let’s just switch to formula. But then my period comes, my milk supply returns, and Cooper and I go back to nursing as usual. No one ever said that breast feeding would be easy. And if you are an unlucky one like me, your nipples are so sensitive while mentrating, making breast feeding even more difficult. But hang in there- breast feeding is the best food for your baby and it is worth it!
Thank you! This was very helpful. My daughter is 15 weeks old, I am breastfeeding only, and I got my period. I’ve noticed that she’s fussy, won’t nurse as long or just refuses to eat. I’m glad I stumbled on your blog. Thanks!
Antoinette, I am glad that my post was helpful! I nursed my son for 10 months and 4 of the months I had a period. It was difficult, but I was determined to nurse him longer. I hope that you will be able to successful breastfeed you daughter for as long as you want. Best Wishes!!!
Same boat! AF returned at six months and I have a cranky, hungry baby! Thank you for this post!!
I’ve had the same thing happen this week. Bub is 6 weeks old and my period returned on Friday despite solely breastfeeding. He was one cranky baby on Sunday and Monday and wouldn’t feed properly. Kept pulling off (one breast in particular) and was generally unsettled. Don’t think I really had a problem with supply though. The breast he wouldn’t feed off was swollen up like a softball last night. Had to express the extra off. Today he’s back to normal like nothing’s happened. Glad to read that others have the same experience.
Nicole and Bron, thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing this. When this happened to me I thought I was the only one who was going through this. It is always nice to hear that other women are in the “same boat” as you. I hope you are able to continue breastfeeding for as all as you want. It really is the best for our babies!
I know the original posting and responses are a bit old now, but I was so glad to stumble upon them! My daughter will be 6 months old next week and is generally a happy and content little one. The past couple of days have not been great and low and behold, this morning I got my period. I’m hopeful that this is the answer to the fussiness and lackluster feedings. This is quite a tricky time for her though; it could be teeth, it could be my hormonal changes, it could be the slight cold she’s fighting, etc. etc. It’s tough to be a baby! Thanks again. ~ HJ
HJ, I am glad that my post gave you some piece of mind. If she is teething at the same time that could be tricky figuring out what it is. You’ll know if it was your period if after a day or two she goes back to nursing as normal. If not, then it could be related to the teething.
Another thing to keep in mind is that around 6 months old they hit a growth spurt. During growth spurts babies tend to be fussy while breastfeeding until the milk supply can catch up. I also notice some sleeping issues when my son was in the mist of a growth spurt.
Your baby could possibly be in the middle of a wonder week too. Around six months they hit a big developmental period. I blogged about it if you care to read it. Maybe that might also bring you some more piece of mind. It is called Wonder Week 26 https://blogginaboutbabies.wordpress.com/2009/04/14/wonder-week-26/
Good Luck!
Thank you for the tips! I was mainly revering to the “the week leading up to” this week I was sooooo worried because my daily average was low by like 1-2 oz (i know this cause I pump during work) DS was always hungry, cranky, I was so sad. Then AF started, and now I’m back to normal. It’s great to know it’s only the week leading up to, not just the week before and during. Sadly mine has returned at 4 months. Blah!
Sadly mine has returned my baby is 5 months old today and my period started yesterday. I was sadly too see it come back worried that my milk would dry up. But it hasn’t, last week I did see a slight drop but not much. My daughter is also teething so this is also a challenge since she likes to bite, I want to breast feed for 1 year. Im determined
Thanks for the tips
Great post and very helpful. I’ve been experiencing low supply since I started my cycle again a few days ago. I thought my breastfeeding days were over and was about to cry. Thank God for the internet and posts like this.
I got my period back 8 weeks after my son was born. My milk came in after 5 weeks. Than I started notice this time when I got my period my milk decreased. Last night after 4 hours without feeding him my breast didn’t engorged usually I would get really big but not during my period that kind of worry me. I can see my baby is not having enough to eat. but your post did help after reading you blog I took some Funugreek capsules I hope that would work.
Hi all,
My son is 3.5 months old and he an exclusively breastfed baby. I give him expressed milk exclusively with bottles and that is why my period has returned so quickly. I just had my 1st period last week and noticed a significant decrease in milk supply because I only pump. My question is does this come back to normal once you’re done menstruating as it has already been a week and I am on the 5th day of my period and still no change 😦 I will start with the calcium/magnesium supplement today & I am already taking Lactonic Granules. I am determined to feed him for at least 6 months but my doc is saying I can start semi-solids in 2 weeks. Please advise.
From my experience, my milk supply usually returned to normal after my periods. However, you want to keep in mind that if your son is in the middle of a growth spurt as well, it may take a little longer for your milk supply to catch up to the demand. I highly recommend that you try the more milk plus- it worked wonders on my supply- if you feel like you are still having supply issues. I would try to increase the duration that you pump. Even if you don’t have any milk coming out, try to pump an additional 10-15 minutes after each feed for a while. That should help to increase your milk supply. If you can also add an additional pumping into your day, I suggest you do that as well to increase your milk supply. I breastfeed, but I would added a pumping at the end of the day when my son was asleep for the night. That help to maintain my milk supply! Best of Luck to you!
Hi Sue,
Thanks for your reply. I live in India hence don’t know about More Milk Plus. I am quite sure it won’t be available in my region. Anything else you can suggest? I have already started pumping one time extra and noticed a change but I am still struggling to make ends meet and the pumping gets painful after a bit when I know I have to meet the target for the day. Fortunately, my son is consuming 28.5 ounces a day and I don’t need to increase that as he takes 7 feeds a day with 3 hour gaps. I don’t breastfeed at all. I am an exclusively pumping MOMMY.
You can purchase more milk plus on the internet through amazon. You can buy it in a dropper (liquid form) or in capsules. The bottles also come in different sizes. Here is a link: http://www.amazon.com/More-Milk-2-oz-Motherlove/dp/B000K2GFZ2/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&s=hpc&qid=1258405819&sr=1-7
That is good that you added an additional pumping. If you still have trouble with your milk supply, I would still try to pump and additional 10 minutes after the last drop of milk has been pumped. The stimulation from the pump will help you to produce more milk.
If you feel like your nipples are uncomfortable, try a cream. This cream is great for nursing and pumping. I have supplied a link to it on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Lansinoh-Lanolin-Nursing-Cream-Twin-Pack/dp/B0018DMYX4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=hpc&qid=1258405971&sr=1-1
Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help!
Just FYI, you don’t have to have your period return to get variation in the supply of milk. I’m quite sure that I ovulate even though my period doesn’t come. When I do ovulate, my milk supply drops for about 5 days. So even if you are not menstruating and you notice a sudden drop in milk supply, don’t worry. It will most likely be back in a few days. AND your nipples may be very sensitive and sore during this time. I’ve been breastfeeding for 9 months and this has happened about 5 times. Try to feed/pump as much as possible, but if you have to, just give the little one an extra few ounces from the freezer!
Beth, Thanks for leaving this comment. You are right, it is possible to ovulate without a period. Hopefully this will help someone other women out there!
Thank you so much for this post! I couldn’t figure out why my little guy (3.5 months old) has been waking up so much the past couple nights when he’d been sleeping so well, or why he hasn’t been nursing very enthusiastically and keeps popping on & off during nursing. It was great to read about other women experiencing the same thing, and learn what to do to get through this time!
Thank You So Much for posting this information! my period came back today, and i cried so hard. i was so scared my milk supply was going to dry up. i’m not ready to stop nursing, and i know my little guy isn’t either. he’s turning 1 in a couple days, and i know the AAP says one year is good enough, but going longer is even better. giving up now is not an option for me. the way i look at it is God knew what He was doing when he made baby’s food come from mommy. breast is truly best. i just wanted to says thanks again, and i am so relieved to have stumbled upon this blog. my tears are gone. 🙂 THANK YOU!
Awesome post!!! Thanks so much. The same thing is happening to me and my daughter. She is 4 mos old and I got my period when she was 2mos old. She totally …TOTALLY refused to breastfeed the week before I was due for my period. I didn’t know what to think as I have a 3 year old who this never happened to, so I took my 3mos old to the Dr and they tested her for Lactose Intolerance…since then I have been off the milk and switched to Soy ( yuck!). She has been fine…until last week when she refused again. I looked on the calendar saw that I was coming up on a period and BINGO!
I got my period yesterday and she is back to nursing!!! It must be the taste and smell..cause she turns her head away from my breasts. I also noticed a great deminish in my supply too. I just pump when she is done and it seems to return to normal after I get my period.
Thanks again…I am so glad its “normal” and not anything drastically wrong with my baby girl 🙂
I am so glade I can across this because I am having the same problems. My son is 2m today and I’ve returned to work a week ago and I have noticed a change in milk supply because I normaly pump 20+ oz while at work and know it has decreased and guess what I got today, my Cycle! By the way, it is effecting one breast more than the other. I have noticed that he doesn’t finish the pumped bottle of milk, so should I pump n dump when this happens?
Yes, you should def pump if he does not finish feeding off your second breast! This will keep your milk supply from depleting. You could save the milk that you pump and freeze it, but sometimes the milk will have a funny taste during your menstruation. So I would experiment and see if he will take the milk later, if not then toss it.
Another idea is to mix your “menstruation milk” with other milk to dilute the taste and see if he’ll take it then 🙂 No need to waste it if you don’t need to.
Thanks so much for this blog!! Nice to know there are other nursing mamas out there with menstrual supply issues! I’ve known for a while that my period effects my supply, but this last week my little guy is also teething and biting. So, it’s doubly frustrating!! I reacted too strongly to the first bites and that triggered a strike for about three days. I was starting to think he was self-weaning till I read that babies rarely do that before a year. (He’s almost 11 months) So, after a few days of patience we’re handling it well.
I meant to add also, that sometimes, for me, so maybe others too, it’s not necessarily my supply that drops during AF or ovulation, but sometimes its more a let-down issue. So, keep that in mind too 🙂
Good luck ladies! We all have to stick together 🙂 Thanks so much Sue for your commitment to the blog so that the rest of us can find that we’re not crazy 🙂 Happy Nursing!
Stephanie, thanks for the advise about mixing the menstruation milk with frozen breast milk- that should be helpful!
And as for the slow let down, I agree. What I would do to help this out was to rub the tip of my nipples gently with the palm of my hand in a circular motion. This seemed to stimulate the milk flow and prevent my son from getting frustrated while waiting for the milk to let down. Make sure to stimulate both nipples at the same time to achieve a faster let down.
I hope you are able to continue nursing for as long as you want!
Alfalfa ( the herb) is great for milk supply! Milk comes in quick. How do u know if you’re getting you’re period or if it’s just bloody mucous from your cervix?
I knew my period was about to come by the length of my cycle. I had a very regular period so I could track it very well. I would also get very emotional leading up to my period.
Thanks for the information. I’ve been back to work since my son was a few weeks old, and he is 5 1/2 months now. Just yesterday, my milk supply tanked as I started menstruating.
I am devastated- not to mention, I’ve been in tears most of the night praying for my supply. I’ve been drinking Mother’s Milk herbal tea and pumping every other hour, but it has not helped.
I’ll try the More Milk Plus and calcium/mag mix today. I canot bear the thought of not being able to nurse anymore…. Praying this works … 🙂
Thank you so much for all the information. My little guy is 10 months old, and I just got my first period. He is also teething. He started nursing for shorter amounts about a week ago, so I thought he just wasn’t as hungry. Well, my milk supply decreased drastically. I’ve been taking Fenugreek for about the last 4 months, so that wasn’t an option for me. I’ve had my period for about 2 days now, and it is extremely heavy. I’ve added some extra pumping sessions. I’m just hoping that my supply will go back to normal once I’m done. Thanks for letting me know I’m not the only one with this issue!
THank Goodness for this post.. i have been serioulsly stressing over my milk supply and felt soo hopeless especially b/c my son will not take formula and i had no clue how i would be able to feed him. now that i read this i hope my supply will return to normal shortly through this period. Thanks again
Thanks so much for this post Sue. I exclusively breastfed my 8 month old little girl up until 5 1/2 months when I introduced solids…. I was sad when my period came back 3 days ago because I would have liked to have gone on for at least 1 year without them! Unlike what the other mums experienced with their babies, mine didn’t really seem to fuss about the taste thankfully and happily fed as usual. I thought the drop in my supply was a combination of her starting solids, hence drinking less breastmilk which caused my periods to come back. 😦 On one hand I was happy she was being nourished with the rainbow of foods I was preparing but this meant her time at the breast wasn’t as frequent anymore. I was one of the lucky mums whose baby dropped the night feed at 7 weeks so to avoid exploding breasts in the morning as well as not risk the return of my period, I pumped the milk before I went to bed. I did this most nights then on alternating nights. I guess in the last 2 months I wasn’t as diligent with the pumping and with her feeding only 4 times a day after solids, this is what happens, periods come back. The week before they came back I got those cramps, then the clear discharge which pretty much meant they were around the corner…. but I wonder if I had increased the frequency of her breastfeeds or pumped more I could have put off my period for longer. I’m convinced it is as is the case with a friend who also exclusively breastfeeds and also pumps and stores her breastmilk (she has a dozen freezer bags of it in her ‘breastmilk bank’ freezer). I’m sure her periods are a long way off from coming back. Her little girl is the same age as mine (born an hour apart) and we’ve had so much fun watching our bubs grow and develop. Being careful to ensure our bodies milk production is kept up means having the time to monitor this and I know it’s not possible for a mum who goes back to work. Even pumping isn’t as effective as having the baby suck as the sucking is 60% more efficient in removing the milk than an electric pump.
Thanks to the other mums who suggested alfalfa sprouts to increase breastmilk – I actually really like that herb already so that’s a plus. I’ve also been drinking fennel tea and making hearty soups made from chicken stock and pig hocks (trotters). I also take a calcium supplement (just calcium on it’s own as the magnesium is already present in the Elevit) and I wish I had taken this earlier when I started breastfeeding as the bub seriously depletes your bones when you breastfeed for so long… xx
Thanks for this post. There really isnt much on this subject so its very reassuring. I got my period when dd was 3 months while exclusively bf. She went off feeding really majorly for over a week including a few days after period had stopped so i wasnt sure it was due to this. I even ended up in paediatric assessment unit I was so worried as she wont take a bottle. However she eventually went back to feeding normally – took 2 weeks – we werent sure what it was. However she has just gone off feeding again and it is 4 weeks since the last time and i am very pre-menstrual so i guess thats what it is. has anyone else found their babies went off for so long?? very stressful! have tried fenugreek and pumping which helped, but will try mothers milk plus. take care x
THANK YOU! After reading your blog, I am anxiously awaiting my period! My son is 10 months old. I have pumped from the beginning. For 6 months, he has only nursed once in the evening and I pumped 5 times a day. I have slowly been reducing the number of pumpings. I was getting 24oz/day. For the last month, I have pumped 3/day getting a total of 20oz. I was happy with that. Then he went on a nursing strike a week ago. He finally returned to the one nursing two days ago, but for the past 4 days I am lucky to get 10oz/day. I will try to add in pumpings, but I hope that the amount returns to the usual levels soon. I want to keep him on breastmilk until 1 year and the freezer supply would diminish before then…
[…] The site recommends a calciumagnesium supplement, which I’ve not yet tried but think I might. Other recommendations have been helpfully collated on Blogging About Babies. […]
Thank you! My milk all but dries up before my period, and every month returns a little bit less. If not for fenugreek… On the week before my period, I have noticed that Ricky won’t even finish his lunch bottle while I am at work. I began to wonder if it tasted different. I am so rellieved to know that it is not my imagination! I have of course used fenugreek, and drank the tea.. etc. What kind of results are others getting with the Calcium and Mag? I am willing to try anything… I am just short of ordering domperidone! Ricky is 19 months, I really want to make it to 2 years if we can, but my milk is ssssooooo low! My AF came back at 9 months (working mommy with a breastfeeding hostile environment!)
Thank you for the post… It made me tear up with relief!
Thanks so much for this blog I thought I was alone!! My daughter is 6 months and this is my second cycle. This one is worse than the 1st. I am definitley going to start the calcium and mothers tea.. I hope it helps… I want to make it to a year and hope my periods are not discouraging to her …
i cant tell u how helpful this post was. i just got my period and my 7 week old has been acting so strange lately. i wasnt sure what it was and now i feel so much better knowing i was not alone.
thanks.
My milk supply is low and it is DURING my period. Is this a problem or could it be for the same reason? I’m still worried because my supply is low DURING rather than, or in addition to, PRIOR to my period….
Laura, your low supply is related to your hormone changes. It is possible that DURING your period your hormones are such that you produce not quite enough. If you know that, then ahead of time you can try to take something like more milk plus or supplement w/ frozen breastmilk. I usually pump before I go to sleep and I save that extra milk for that wonderful time of the month when my supply dips and I also save the pumped milk for growth spurts and hungry days.
Thanks so much. I will prepare more for the next time. Unfortunately, this was my first period since I gave birth (7 months ago) so I wasn’t at all prepared for the drop in milk supply. Thankfully I do have some frozen breast milk and we have been trying some solids so I don’t think he’ll starve. I was just nervous that I was going to lose my milk supply altogether and I am not ready to wean him yet!
In case you were thinking it, I don’t think the introduction of solids is why my supply diminished because last week my supply was fine and this week it wasn’t and we have been giving our son some solids here and there for about a month or so, soooo….that’s why I was thinking it was my period, especially after reading this info.
Thanks again!
Laura
Is anybody on the minipill? I have a 7 month old, who is exclusively breastfed (but also eating solids), and I am on this pill. I kept waiting to get my period but my gyn says that I won’t get it while I’m taking this pill. Is this because I’m breastfeeding or does this always apply? Am I still ovulating? My milk supply has been very low this past week (or more) and my nipples are sore. I’ve been taking fenugreek which helped in the past but hasn’t been as effective this time around. Is More Milk Plus more effective than pure fenugreek or is it essentially the same thing? I am committed to breastfeeding my little guy for a year and beyond but am getting rather discouraged by how difficult it’s been to maintain my milk supply recently.
I would appreciate any and all advice, wisdom, support…
I feel as though we are all fortunate to have found this site. I too was more than suprised and concerned when my period returned when I am exclusively breastfeeding my son who is 3 months old.
I breastfed my first son for 15 months and did not have my period for almost 2 years.
It is great to have an outlet to speak and listen with other moms who are in similar situations.
I hope and pray that we can all successfully continue feeding our babies in the most natural, connected and nuturing way mother nature has gifted us with.
Thank you so much for this post! My daughter is 5 months old and this is my second period since and I totally notice a pattern….she as of yet won’t take a bottle but maybe I”ll keep trying…we nurse to sleep so on top of being fussy because she is hungry she resists nursing and has trouble falling asleep….I guess good thing it’s only for a few days. I’ll definitely be trying your tips.
Just wanted to say THANK YOU Sue for providing this information. I had seen a very significant drop in my mllk supply and was wondering if it had a connection to my period. Unfortunately for me, my period came while my son is only 2.5 months, and I am still low on supply while menstruating. However now that I know it’s not uncommon I am confident that the supply will go back up when my period ends, and I will definitely get those calcium/magnesium pills and mothers milk plus for when my next period comes. Thanks again and best wishes to all the breast feeding moms out there!
thanks for this post..actually i was worried what happened to my milk supply in periods..quite releifed after reading ur posts…hope my milk supply returns soon after my periods..else my 3 month old baby will starve or i have to put her on lactogen..

Thank you so much for this post. We’ve been going through the same thing for a few days now, and I’ve had some other medical issues on top of everything. So it took 3 days for me to wonder if my period could be having an effect on her. And this would happen right as she’s trying to drop the late night feeding!! (On her own, not of my choosing. 🙂 )
Thank you again!!!!
P.S. Do you all do the Calcium/Magnesium supplement in addition to a daily multivitamin, or should the amount in that be enough? Thank you!
Thank you thank you thank you for this post..i cant say this enough..i have been nursing my lo for 4 months and today i got my period..she has been extremely fussy for the last two days and my supply has gone down..i was so worried that i would have to give up nursing but after reading your post i feel so much better..

OMG!!! I was literally freaking out these past week! I noticed my milk supply drastically reduced and I wasn’t sure why. BUT, now I do. ugh.. and what sucks is that I didn’t prepare myself for this so I have to supplement with formula sometimes because I haven’t been storing enough milk or pumping enough for that matter. Thank you soooo much for this post!
I was ready to throw in the towel today due to low supply. I then figured I should research a correlation between my menstrual cycle and breast milk when I stumbled across your post! So happy to see this can be expected- now I can relax knowing my baby can continue reaping the benefits of breast milk! Thank you!
Glad this helped give you peace of mind! Hope you are able to breastfeed as long as you would like to!
Awesome article indeed. Weve been looking for this tips.
hey I have a question im exclusivley breatsfeeding for 13 months sometimes my periods reg and other months I run 35day cycle and now im breastfeeding only one time a day and why r my periods so irregular they should be more reg we want to haveanother and not knowing when it will come makes it hard to figure out when ur ovulateing ty
Sometimes even after breastfeeding is finished, it takes a while for periods to get back into a normal grove. Hang in there, your body will get back on track in time.
Thank you so much for sharing this infomation. It is helpful. I was wondering why my milk supply drops in the past few days and I just got my period after breastfeeding for 10 months. My target is to breastfeed for 2 more months and my son can swab to cow milk. The true thing is I was successfully training my son to sleep overnight for 3 weeks now, in the meantime I stopped pumping or breasfeeding during the night time. I didn’t even know that is a green light for my body to go back to ovulation. I was wrong, but I will go to buy mother milk plus to see if I can get more milk supply that can last for another 2 months…
I am glad you found it helpful. But since you have stopped feeding your baby at night, might I suggest that you pump before you go to bed. I found that if I went longer than 10 hours without nursing my babies, that my milk supply significantly dropped as well. So I added a pumping session in between 10-11pm before I go to bed. I would just freeze the milk and use it to supplement or for mixing with cereal. My babies usually sleep from about 7-8pm to 7-8am. So it was necessary to add in the extra pumping. Or you could try doing a dreamfeed- when you feed your baby between 10-11pm right before you go to sleep, if you don’t want to pump.
I found this blog very helpful….I just got my period today myson is 6months old. I have been very low on milk supply for the past couple of days…I have introduced 2 formula feeds a day because i found that my son just started refusing my left breast and he was just hungry all of the time. Now he seems to be a much happier baby that he is getting enough milk as well as solids ( he has just started 10days ago) I am a bit sad that my milk supply is diminishing but I don’t want to stop nursing so I will do as everyone says and continue to nurse frequently and hopefully I will get more milk.
